Beautiful bag - a sack of squares. Tutorial

Sew the original bag - the task is not difficult and quite feasible. Today I want you, together with me, to make an interesting "sea" bag of simple fabric squares.

To tailor such a bag, you need:
• Two types of fabric blue and blue.
• Fine sintepon sheet.
• Iron.
• Sewing machine.
• Pin.
• Threads in the tone of the fabric.

I drew my bag first on paper in the form of a diagram, without pens. Under this scheme we will collect squares of different colors.

 

In total we will need to sew 10 squares of blue and 12 blue squares. Size for them, choose yourself, depending on the volume of the bag that you have planned. My bag will be small, so I make the squares 10 by 10 cm.

 


Now we sew the rows of two, four, five squares among themselves. The stitches are ironed.

 


We need to sew 2 rows of two, four and five squares.

 

Now we sew the rows together to make a "chess".

 


The whole canvas is ironed again, so that all the seams lie in one direction and then the fabric is not brushed against us.

 


By the resulting detail, we cut out the sealant from the foam sheet. And already on the seal we draw the lining. For her, I chose the blue fabric from which I sewed the squares. But you can make the lining more contrast, if desired.

 


Now we pinned the lining on the detail of the squares, and on top pins the thin sealant from the synthepon.

 


It turns out that this is a "sandwich".

 


We begin to sew the sides of the squares and form the bag. At the end we sew the bottom, first two sides of the squares along the edge. They have to bend inward.

 


It remains to stitch the sides of the squared squares. The bottom is ready.

 


We turn the bag on the front side.

 


In the upper corners make holes and insert eyelets.

 


Now we sew long strips of fabric for straps. Strips should fit tightly into the eyelets.

 


At the ends of the pens make dense knots and everything, a bag for the summer is ready.

 


It turned out an excellent bag of simple tissue squares.
