Decorate the eyeglass case with leaves made of beads.

I propose to sew a case with beaded maple leaves: it will keep in memory the impressions of autumn, which so picturesquely scattered bright leaves on benches, pavements, roofs ...

Decorate Case for glasses beads

Materials:

- black and gray felt (16x17 cm. 6x6 cm.)

- yellow, orange, green, burgundy, brown beads

- black kapron threads No. 50K

- 2 needles No. 12



Eyeglass case

Cut the part from black felt according to the pattern in the schematic drawing (red outline). From gray felt, cut 7 strips 2 x 17 cm in size. Pin them with tailor pins on the black part, cut the corners of the extreme strips. Sew the strips with a “forward needle” stitch in small stitches. Lay a seam on the top side of the part.

Make leaves of equal size and color with brick weaving (Fig. 1-3, thread length 2.5-2.8 m).

According to fig. 1 weave an orange leaf. The arrow shows the direction of weaving — the first row, indicated by the numbers 1 and 2 (1 — first row bead, 2 — last). Weave the first row according to fig. 5a-c, Fig. 6a. b.

Next, braid one side, then the other, focusing on numbers and symbols (see table). The number and color of leaves depends on your desire. Lay them out on the front and back sides of the future eyeglass case (photo 1). Sew the leaves along the outline.

Fold the felt part with the bead leaves sewn on and sew the bottom and side to the blue line in the schematic drawing.
