The only condition is that the fabric should not have a pronounced relief (like a velveteen with a long pile and large stripes) so that the stitch on the edge of the picture looks beautiful. You can pick up any fabrics that will beautifully decorate the main part - coupon fabric embroidered with beads and quilted according to the drawing.
This bag is sewn according to the model of flat bags. The handle of the bag is made of twisted cord, the middle is of fabric with a coupon pattern (this is the main part of the bag). The edging of the coupon and the back pocket are made of light linen fabric plus two darker jeans stripes as a vertical frame. Clasp is an ethnic knot of a suitable color.
The bag consists of a large bead embroidered part, composed according to the principles of patchwork, and a pocket part. Detail in the style of “patchwork” - the central tapestry (fabric with a coupon pattern that you will embroider) - 22x26 cm; with a frame of 3 cm wide made of thin light denim and two side details from navy blue jeans 32x8 cm.
The pocket detail is sewn in a single fabric, bent, as shown in the figure. If you don’t have a sufficiently long piece of fabric, you can sew it from separate parts or do without a 32x11 cm rectangular part without any pockets.
All details are cut out with allowances for 1 cm seams. You will need a synthetic winterizer and synthetic fabric to sew the main part and the pocket part. Very comfortable sintepon, which is sold combined with a thin fabric. The lining will be sewn from a piece of fabric 50x32 cm, folded in half.
The first step is to select a fabric with a coupon pattern. If the pattern on the fabric is too large, it is recommended to divide it into parts, each of which can be used in other products. For such bags, fabrics with a pattern are recommended, which can fit into A4 sheet sizes. Too small or large pattern will not allow to emphasize the beauty of embroidery.
If the picture is bright, you can pick up the beads of the same tone. For a very light pattern, it is better to choose a brighter beads, possibly with a pearl or other effect.
The figure shows how you can split too large a piece of fabric. Pieces with a linear ornament can be used elsewhere, a small piece with a basic pattern, too. The largest piece with roses will go to the bag.
Any coupon design looks better in a frame of plain fabric. Make a beautiful border from light light denim, as shown in the figure (the procedure for sewing the border was discussed earlier).
You can insert a decorative cord, gold braid, fringe or a finished beaded bottom into the joint of borders and fabrics with a pattern. A thin cord can be sewn over the junction of the frame and fabric with a pattern using transparent monofilament and a zigzag stitch. Thicker cords are best sewn by hand, placing the thread along the grooves of the cord.
A vertical fringe of dark denim is sewn on both sides of the fabric with a pattern in a frame of light jeans and gives brightness to the pattern. It will not be amiss to recall that the fabric for the frames should not distract attention from the main part, and its pattern should not overlap the pattern of the main part.
One of the important parts of the “patchwork” work is the execution of the quilting. To do this, lay a piece of padding polyester between the main part of the bag and additional fabric (for example, synthetic). Carefully chop with pins, stitch all layers around the perimeter, then along the seams of the connection with the frames. After that, proceed to sew the basic pattern.
Usually, the stitch is made with a thread suitable for the main color of the fabric with a pattern, or transparent monofilament. The green dotted line in the figure shows how to lay a stitch along the contours of a flower. Pins are marked with a purple circle - when stitching in different directions, they must be inserted into different parts of the pattern to prevent shifting of the fabric layers.

This is the result of quilting from the wrong side. You can clearly see how the stitch follows the contours of the pattern. Through the grooves formed by the stitch, you will then be embroidered with beads.
Beadwork should be done after completion of the stitches. As a result of quilting, the synthetic winterizer forms a relief, and the line - grooves in which you can easily lay embroidery with beads.

Pick up two or three shades of beads to embroider the main pattern. For example, for embroidery of flowers, beads of dark red, orange and gold shades were used. For embroidery of leaves, one shade of grass green beads was used, for embroidery of brown leaves - small faceted beads of brown shade.
After finishing the embroidery, gently smooth the work with your hands. Avoid using the iron, as it can damage the beads and melt the synthetic winterizer, after which the work will be hopelessly ruined. When embroidering with beads, it is not necessary to pierce all layers. It is enough to hook the thread in the fabric layer with a pattern, since the other layers are fixed with a stitch.
Get started on the last detail - the back pocket. It is very simple to make it - this holiday bag does not need practical pockets of large size, it will be enough a small pocket, tailored to the principle of flat bags for small items.
This looks like a stitched flat pocket. You can make Velcro to prevent objects from falling out. Velcro in this case is not the only option, you can prefer ethnic fasteners in the form of knots and thereby create additional decor.
The final part of the work on the bag is sewing the pocket with a regular straight line, then stitching the bag at the bottom so that a flat bottom is formed (while the bag, of course, is turned inside out). Then continue to work with the product as with a regular flat bag. Sew the handles (here they are from a twisted cord), then the lining. Since this bag is festive and vibrant, the lining can also be a bright color with a pattern.
Sew an ethnic knot-clasp on the front of the bag manually with a hidden stitch.
