  5. Thanks for sharing! As someone who has more beginning level sewing skills, I wonder if you wouldn't mind explaining a little further how you stitched the corners in. I'm a little lost on joining the part that has a 1cm overhang on the bottom.

  10. I've made two of these so far, using batiks. They're very pretty and sturdy. I topstitched around the handles and used a button and elastic loop closure. It's a simple pattern that works up quickly. They'll make lovely gifts.

    1. I wondered that too but then I thought maybe it's because she used directional fabric so she had to cut it and flip one side maybe.
