It appears to be inside out in the second to last photo so I'm thinking the inside of the bag that has the divided pockets is sewn to the main bag with right sides together and then turned. I'll have to go through the actual steps to be sure.
DeleteI can't be sure, but from the pictures they used bias binding to enclose them.
