Fabric Toy Fish Free Sewing Pattern

Try to sew such a rainbow fish for your baby, choosing his favorite colors. This idea will not take much of your time and will not require special "sewing" knowledge and skills.

To create this beautiful fish, you will need fabrics of different colors (preferably cotton of a dense texture), two buttons, a small piece of felt and a filler (for example, synthetic winterizer).
 

So, let's get started. Download the template from the link: download the template, print it out, transfer it to the fabric and cut out the details of the fish:

We sew together the fins and scales of the fish in pairs - a total of 12 parts. Fill them with filler. If you have children, they will like this activity. My four-year-old son with great passion helped me sew the "miracle fish".

We sew the details as shown in the photo.

Then, according to the same principle, we sew the second row of fish scales:

Now we sew the fish's eyes and hearts from felt (you can manually, or on a sewing machine – as it is convenient for anyone).

We sew the two parts together, leaving the fish's tail unstitched. We turn it out.

We fill it with filler, sew up the tail of the fish with a secret seam, and manually embroider the "mouth".

The fish is ready!

This toy will be even more interesting if you put some "rustling" material in the fins or scales of the fish.
