Leather Backpack Patchwork Tutorial

Tutorial on the sewing of the red patchwork backpack, the size of 29 * 23 * 8 cm.

Materials and tools:

leather sewing machine;
sewing machine for lining sewing;
hardware installation press;
punchers;
scissors;
cutting knife;
ripper;
airbrush and red paint
universal glue;
tack and burr pocket reinforcer 9 mm.
adhesive tape for leather 0.5 mm and 1 cm wide;
gel pen on the skin for marking;
industrial threads for leather red;
a hammer;
lining;
bead needle;
two 25 mm buckles;
natural red leather in patches;
a carabiner with a ring for the clasp.

Description of actions:

We carry the main template on paper using the gel handle for marking. We select and cut the flap scissors starting from above. The flaps must go top down the bags like scales. 

Cut the bag valve, we rinse it with glue and press the roller. 

We look at the airbrush edge of the flap and the valve in red. We stick the flap on each other and sew the blank and handles. 

Cut the lining of the bag and sew pockets into it. 

We flash the bag valve along with the carbine for the bag, we admire it on the back and stitched with the lining simultaneously. 

Send straps under buckles from the bottom of the bag. 

Send the lining on the front of the bag. 

We cross face to face the front and back of the bag, and the seams of the bottom. 

We sew lining on the sides and below, leaving a hole for turning. 

Gently turning and sew the ring for the carbine. 

We break through all the necessary holes for attaching straps on the bag and on them themselves. Runp handles, install buckles. We sew manually beaded needle lining.
