Super Cute Clutch Free Pattern and Tutorial.
The One-Sided Clutch is anything but One-Sided. In fact it’s named this because of the asymmetrical flap, but it has many sides. The options are endless when you start adding your color, print and quilting choices to her- she’ll blow you away with her multi faceted personality. Carry her under your arm or by her strap (which also doubles as the zipper pull).
This is a quick tutorial, in fact it can be done in about an hour- so it’s nearly “instant gratification” which is one of my favorite things. Pick an outfit out for the day or evening and have a clutch to match that very same day! Yay!
So let’s get our sewing on!
Top-stitch around the top flap of the clutch, top stitching also helps keep the magnetic closure firmly in place- and I think it makes the bag look a lot sharper.
Here is a close-up of some of my top-stitching.
I am very imperfect when it comes to top-stitching, but you won’t tell anyone, right? I am only sharing this with you. This gives you a better idea of what I did. You may also need to use your zipper foot to get around that closure. Go slow and steady so you don’t break your needle.
And now the best part!
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial as much as I did making it for you. You can see how the One-Sided Clutch is anything but one-sided. She can be sporty, sophisticated, casual all at the same time!
