Reversible Fabric Basket Free Sewing Tutorial // How to Make Basket. DIY Simple Fabric Basket. They are very very easy to make, in 15 minutes you have one made!!!
I want to show you how to make them:
We need two rectangles of fabric 40 x 25 cm (including seam allowances).
It is convenient that at least one of the two fabrics is a little harder, like canvas.
Place right sides together and sew along one of the longer sides.
We open,
and fold, right sides together, along the seam as shown in the photo:
Sew around the rectangle, leaving an opening of about 8 cm.
In this photo you can see the opening that I have left.
Now we have to make the base, and for this we fold the corners as you can see in the photo,
and point four centimeters from the peak.
We sew along the line that we have painted and we cut off the beak that is left over.
We do this with the four corners of the rectangle.
The opening that we left unsewn, we turn it over,
and we are left with this:
We sew the opening with a hidden stitch,
We put one part inside the other, fold it with a twist, and that's it!
It is also reversible!
