This seahorse plush is such a fun project. There are 2 versions of this pattern. The first one is the original Seahorse… it has longer curly tail which is extremely difficult to turn if you don't have a loop turner! And the version 2, a stubbier and shorter tail, which should be easier to turn. Enjoy sewing!

Часто шью из джинсовой ткани и всегда хочется, чтобы швы выглядели как можно более "фабричными". Увы, сымитировать фабричный двойной шов на бытовой швейной машине не возможно, но сделать приличную двойную отстрочку вполне можно.
Многие, кто пытался шить специальными джинсовыми нитками, сталкивался с трудностями - машинка пропускает стежки, петляет на какой-либо из сторон ткани и прочее. У меня тоже так было. Но потом, проштудировав несколько швейных форумов, я нашла ряд хитростей, которые наконец примирили мою машинку с толстыми джинсовыми нитками.

Хитрость первая - нитки

Толстая декоративная нить используется только в качестве верхней, в шпульку заправляем обычную нить, например, армированную нить лен-лавсан №45. Натяжение верхней нити нужно немного ослабить.
