It’s basically two oven mitts that are connected in the middle, kinda like mittens on a string but cooler and with a greater function. That middle section plays a key part in protecting your forearms and clothing from larger and sometimes heavier hot pans (yeah, I’m talking to you Lasagna pan!)
Date Night Ring Handled Clutch Tutorial
I wanted to make a sweet little clutch to use on our date, something fun and flirty. Something cute and eye-catching that speaks of the warmer spring weather we should be having. And with enough room for my phone, wallet, and a few different lipgloss, you know, just the essentials, lol!
TUTORIAL: DIY Bento Lunch Bag
How to make Bento Lunch Bag? I know when I was searching online to buy them almost all the ones I saw were cute but pretty girlie and if you have a little guy, like I do, he may want one that has a bit more boy flair to it!
Marker Roll Up Tutorial
My tutorial today is super easy! Last year I bought some coloring fabric and designed a marker roll that would fit a pack of 10 washable markers (the thick kind!) These projects are so great for gifts! In fact, I sold out of all the marker rolls I made at an Easter craft fair – moms were buying them for Easter basket stuffers!!! They are great for party favors, stocking stuffers, graduation gifts (well…..maybe kindergarten graduation???!) And you can whip out several in a short amount of time!
Houndstooth Quilt Block Tutorial
I’ve got a fun and simple precut pattern. It’s a houndstooth quilt made easy! We’re going to bypass cutting 3″ or 4″ strips with angles, etc. and instead opt for Jelly Rolls (Rolie Polies) and Charm Packs (Stackers) depending on the size you want your finished quilt to be.
Roman Shade DIY Tutorial
I love roman shades for their simple style and versatility. They look good on there own or can be paired with long curtains. I made a lot of these shades for my previous home and a couple for the one that I live in now. You can pretty much use any fabric, but I've found using a heavy weight cotton decorator fabric or cotton duck works best. Plus, you don't need to line the shade with these types of fabrics.
Zipper Wallet DIY Free Tutorial
I needed a new wallet. I sat down and thought about how I used my previous wallet, and what items I would want in a new design to suit my needs. As it turns out, I wanted a wallet that would hold my money, credit cards, change, and cell phone. Maybe even my keys or some sunglasses if room spared. I wanted a wallet with a leather exterior, 2 inner pockets, and lots of pockets for credit cards or other annual membership cards.
Lined Tote with Pockets Tutorial
This tote is lined for extra strength. It also features two pockets on the front, so you don't have to go digging around in a huge bag for your keys. Because keys are heavy, so they go all the way to the bottom and you end up having to pull everything out to find them.
