DIY Canvas Tote Tutorial

I've been looking for a big canvas tote that I can haul with me to markets and estate sales. I didn't have one that was very sturdy, so I thought that leather straps would be the perfect addition to this bag. I hope you like it too!

To make this crayon roll, you will need to gather up a variety of scraps. I used white (grey in the pocket) pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown and grey (to hold the black crayon).

These are super quick and easy and are perfect for teachers gifts, last minute gifts, or as a cute way to hold gift cards. They will really only take 30 minutes! Promise! I timed myself!

I am not a big fan of the large nappy (diaper) bag, so I love a zipper pouch full of baby change gear that I can fit in my bag, throw in the car or stash in the pram. Here’s how I made it:
